1. DDI Fundamentals Provides an overview of DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management – (1.5 hours)

• DNS, DHCP & IPAM fundamentals and how DNS works,
• BIND Servers
• DHCP and Fundamentals (Dora, client and Server, Message)
• IPAM and IP address space layout (classes of IPv4 and IPv6)

2. Environment Setup and Intro to Solid Server (Lab) – (3 hours)

• Troubleshooting Device Sync Issues, Reporting Failure.

3. SOLIDserver Management / Centralised HA for SOLIDserver appliances “Hot Standby” node (Lab) along with theory – (3.5 hours)

• Troubleshooting the Active Active Issues
• Failover Testing and Issues Discussion.

4. IPAM (IP Address Management) – (2 hours)

• IP Plan Structure
  – Subnetting / Supernetting
  – Reconciliation
  – Role-based IP requests
• Create VLAN, IP blocks, auto-subnetting; simulate conflicting IPs; set IP request approval process
• This will be done on stimulation lab in EffIP console, and all options will be covered but with limited Discovery options as no network devices in Lab to discover. (only client Machines)
