Workplace Service Delivery Overview
- The ServiceNow Workplace Service Delivery (WSD) Suite consists of multiple applications designed to allow employees to interact with the services their workplace offers.
Base Workplace Service Delivery Configurations
- Once the Workplace Service Delivery suite is installed, workplace data may be created, imported, or migrated from the Location [cmn_location] table. Workplace data includes information such as the office region, country, city, campus, and building name or number. It may also include space dimensions and cost center.
Workplace Case Management
- ServiceNow Workplace Case Management allows employees to submit cases for workplace issues and requests such as HVAC issues, broken chairs, floor spills, move requests, and to request services like catering or temporary changes to the space configuration.
- Lab: Create new Workplace Case Record Producer, Workplace Service, SLA, and Fulfilment instructions for a case template.
Workplace Reservation Management
- Reservation Management allows employees to reserve workplace items like desks, conference rooms, parking spaces, video equipment, and any other item deemed reservable.
- Lab:Update Space characteristics, Add Standard Services to a Space, Create a new Gym space, Create a new Reservable Module for the Gym.
Workplace Indoor Mapping
- ServiceNow Indoor Mapping provides inbuilt indoor maps for indoor navigation and wayfinding. Indoor Mapping map studio creates digitalized interactive locations within workplaces and buildings.
- Lab: Become familiar with the Workplace Indoor Mapping Studio, Gain an understanding of CAD file basics, including how to load and troubleshoot floorplans into Indoor Mapping Studio, Create a building and floorplan
- Lab: Synchronize data between Indoor Mapping and WSD.
Workplace Visitor Management
- Workplace Visitor Management improves front-desk operations and allows organizations to customize visitor experiences. Employees may register visitors and plan for their requirements in advance. Once on-site, reception staff can update a visitor’s status and check them in.
Workplace Safety Management
- The Workplace Safety Management application, installed as part of the Workplace Service Delivery Suite, is used to create managed processes for workplace distancing plans, shift assignments, sanitation schedules, and space allocation.
Workplace Central
- Plan, monitor, optimize and maintain the workplaces and workplace contracts more efficiently using a single workspace, Workplace Central.
